149. Slides and Excerpts from my FFF2025 Talk

Look at this picture.

Overgrown grass. Cracked tombstones. No flowers. No visitors.
There’s something deeply sad about it, isn’t there?
Because this isn’t just a cemetery—it’s a symbol of being forgotten.

And somewhere in this forgotten place, a mother might be buried. A father. Someone who once worked hard, raised a family, gave their all.

And now… no one remembers.

No children visit. No one leaves flowers. No one says their name.

Maybe they thought love was enough. That memory would take care of itself.

But you and I know—that doesn’t always happen.

And maybe that’s what they didn’t plan for.

Because the truth is, legacy isn’t automatic.

Legacy doesn’t just happen—it’s something you have to design.

And if we don’t take the time to do that… we risk becoming just another name on a crumbling stone.

That’s what we’re here to talk about today.

Not just wills or wealth or properties—but how to protect your story, and make sure you are remembered the way you deserve to be.

Because in the end, it’s not just about what you leave behind…

It’s about how they’ll remember you.

Being remembered is not about ego.

·       It’s not about wanting to be praised.

·       It’s not about leaving behind riches to impress people.

·       It’s definitely not about building monuments or being talked about like a celebrity.

 No.

 It’s about being honored.

Being honored for the life you gave—for the days you woke up early, came home tired, but never stopped providing.

Being honored for the love you shared—even if you didn’t say the words “I love you” often, but showed it through every meal on the table, every school fee paid, every quiet sacrifice.

Being honored for the sacrifices you made—the dreams you postponed so your children could chase theirs, the comforts you gave up, so others could have more.

All the best my friends!
